Great Lakes Air Operations owns and operates a diverse fleet consisting of the following aircraft and watercraft:

DJI INSPIRE 2
Great Lakes Air Operations is proud to fly the DJI Inspire 2 aircraft, which is equipped with the Zenmuse X5S camera.  The aircraft goes from 0 to 50 MPH in just 5 seconds, and hits a maximum speed of 58 MPH.  A dual battery system prolongs the flight time, while self-heating technology allows it to fly even in low temperatures.  Multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, gives single pilots the ability to create complex, dramatic shots.

Equipped with an uprated Micro 4/3 sensor, the Zenmuse X5S has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops.  It supports up to eight standard M4/3 lenses (including zoom lenses) with focal lengths ranging from 9mm - 45mm (equivalent to 18mm - 90mm on a 35mm camera), allowing more creative flexibility.

Fast, Efficient Workflows
The DJI CINESSD card (PCIe3.0 NVMe SSD support) and a highly optimized FAT32/exFAT file system, allows Zenmuse X5S footage to be transferred directly through the DJI CINESSD STATION card reader to a computer at high speeds without any additional software.  Footage also supports the DIT standard.  CinemaDNG or Apple ProRes workflows can be used for post-processing.

DJI MAVIC 2 ENTERPRISE DUAL
The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual features a three-axis gimbal stabilized camera housing a side-by-side 4K sensor for capturing visible light and a FLIR imaging sensor for capturing thermal data. 

Users can select from multiple intelligent display modes in the DJI Pilot flight control app to visualizedata from the dual-sensor camera:

  • FLIR MSX: A new feature that combines data from the visual and thermal cameras in real time to enhance visual details, helping pilots quickly identify and interpret critical data that may not be immediately visible to the naked eye.

  • Spot Meter: Displays the average temperature of an object, helping pilots monitor and measure critical or hazardous objects while maintaining a safe distance.

  • Area Measurement: Displays the average, lowest, and highest temperature, as well as the corresponding locations of each area, allowing inspectors to quickly assess objects and determine if an asset may be overheating.

  • Isotherm: Allows pilots to designate specific temperature ranges to be displayed using a custom color palette so objects within the range relay higher contrast and better visibility. This feature includes custom profiles to aid search and rescue pilots in identifying people and to help firefighters identify hot spots in fires, as well as a custom profile setting for added flexibility.

The Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual features a spotlight, speaker, and beacon, and includes Data Security, GPS Timestamping , DJI AirSense, Ocusync 2.0 and so on.

PARROT DISCO-PRO
The Parrot Disco-Pro is a fixed wing drone.  It can be used for a variety of scenerios, including assisting farmers and small agriculture cooperatives to quickly get an insight on the health of their crops, thanks to visual crop scouting and specialized NDVI maps.

DJI SPARK
The DJI Spark is a mini drone that is generally used for indoor flights.  The aircraft features intelligent flight control options, a mechanical gimbal, and a camera with incredible image quality.

POWERVISION POWERDOLPHIN
Equipped with a unique dual-joint rotating camera, PowerDolphin can rotate to meet above-water and underwater shooting and search demands.

With the assistance of PowerSeeker, PowerDolphin uses sonar technology to give quick feedback on the underwater topography and fish distribution, and grasp the underwater dynamics thoroughly.

PowerDolphin works with PowerSeeker and the path and track planning function of the software to automatically scan the specified waters and generate an underwater topographic map.  The map provides scientific, accurate underwater information in a digital and visualized manner.
